18k Gold Vermeil Pieces
Because our vermeil is a thick layer of gold over sterling silver, it requires a light touch. Never use silver polishing liquids or chemical cleaners, as these will strip the gold layer. Simply wipe with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth after each wear to remove skin oils.
Sterling Silver
Silver naturally oxidizes (turns dark) when exposed to air and humidity. The best way to prevent this? Wear it often! The natural oils in your skin help keep it shiny. If it does tarnish, use a dedicated silver polishing cloth to bring back the mirror finish.
Pearls
Pearls can lose their brilliance if dirt builds up behind the setting. Use lukewarm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a very soft toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless specified.
The Art of Storage
When your jewelry isn't being worn, its home matters. Air and humidity are the leading causes of tarnishing, especially for Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil.
To maintain that signature Mezuille luster, store your pieces individually in the pouch provided. This doesn't just prevent oxidation—it also protects your jewelry from being scratched by other pieces in your collection.
